Not a lot going on. Weaver got the same deal he had signed the previous year. I believe most analysts were surprised he went back to the AL.
Rosenthal is reporting the Rockies and Red Sox are discussing a swap for Todd Helton. The hang up I am sure will be how many dollars the Rockies will be willing to absorb. The deal could happen because the Rockies did absorb quite a bit of the Hampton contract and they may be willing to do it again to get their last big dollar contract off the books.
