Boggs continues his scoreless streak

October 16, 2007 | Dustin | Comments 1

Looks like it will be the Rockies and the Indians unless Boston stages an historic comeback.  Looking at those two franchises, you can start to see what Dewitt envisions for the Cardinals.

Check out Stan Musial’s Stance.  I met Mike in my short tenure at MVN and I can say that was my biggest positive from that experience.

In Tuesday’s Arizona Fall League action, Mark Hamilton was the only St. Louis Cardinal position player to see any action.  Hamilton was 1 for 3 and drew a walk.  He is now hitting .222.  Mitch Boggs made his second start for the Mesa Solar Sox.  Boggs was not as economical as the last time out but was just as productive.  Boggs pitched three more scoreless innings while allowing two hits, two walks, and striking out two.  Reliever Kyle McClellan was roughed up for two runs on three hits and two walks in one inning of work.

Also on Tuesday, Blake Dewitt had a hit and a walk and is hitting .400 so far in the AFL.

great to see boggs off to such a wonderful start in the afl. i’m excited about him pitching at AAA next year. i know hi periphials haven’t been great, but i just like him.

in other afl news, the hoff has been sitting b/c of a horrible case of strep threat. stu pomeranz is battling a mild case, too.
