Wainwright roughed up

Ryan Braun is a stud. The dude is unreal. The Cardinals might have lost but at least that means the Brewers picked up a half a game on the Cubs. I didn’t like seeing Wainwright get knocked around but I am sure it is a case of “Career High in Innings Pitched.”
Baseball America rated the Cardinals’ first round pick, Pete Kozma, as the seventh best prospect in the Appy League. BA says that Kozma was one of the best defensive shortstops in the league and gets to more balls than most of the shortstops he competed against.

So I guess Yadi felt left out as he went under the knife today. He should be ready by spring training. Mark Mulder had his shoulder clean up today. Let’s wish them both a speedy recovery.
