The good people at Wilson Sporting Goods have given me access to some tickets for the upcoming All-Star Fan Fest in St. Louis. So, if you are interested in going, tell us why we should pick you in the comments section below.
The Rules:
Here is what you need to do to win a pair of MLB All-Star FanFest tickets, a $60 value:
- First and foremost, you must be available to pick up your tickets IN PERSON at a special location near Americas Center in St. Louis on Saturday, July 11 between Noon and 3 p.m. CST. NO EXCEPTIONS. While the tickets are good anytime during the FanFest hours on Saturday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday, they MUST be picked up on Saturday during the allotted time. If you cannot meet this requirement, do not enter the contest and spoil it for others – PLEASE!
- The staff of whiteyball will decide the winners. So, be creative and original. Tell us why you need to go! Only one winning post per reader will be accepted.
- Post your answer on the thread following the question to qualify. Emails will not be accepted. Partial answers will not be accepted.
- Winners will be notified via email so be sure to leave your address with your comment.
- Contest ends tonight at 11 PM EST. Sorry for short notice, but that is the way it goes.
Ticket pickup is as follows:
- On Saturday, July 11, from Noon to 3pm CST, we will have a Wilson Greeter distributing tickets to winners. Our Wilson Greeter will be stationed at 7th and Washington in from of US Bank Plaza and will be wearing a Wilson T-shirt and Hat.

I want to go and I am the first to sign up!
Well I need to go for a couple of reasons.
1. I live and die baseball, couple that with this being 1st ASG in STL..well its like Disney World and a date with Jessica Biel all wrapped in one, well not quite:)
2. This city becomes electric when its baseball night in STL, even the weeknight games bring the city to life. I can only imagine what this beloved city will be like in the baseball spotlight. I want to soak up as much as I can, while I can.
3. I need a baseball refresher. We/I get so caught up in the money, the injuries, the politics and the daily grind of the game, I/we tend to forget why we love the game. Nothing reminds you why you love the game more then 20K of you closest friends of like minds.
4. I just really want to go:
PS..I promise to take alot of pics and not to hug or akwardly stare at Luhnow for an extended period of time:)
Because I am the cardinal king of the whole wild world.
And Mike is on his diet and is clearing out the ER. Please get me out of here and what better way to do that then go to fanfest.
I am also in the ER struggling with every breathe while working with Mike. PLEASE PLEASE save us all and send us to fanfest…. “help me obi one kenobi you’re my only hope” or in this case help dustin you’re my only hope……….
I’d love to be able to take my daughter to the FanFest…I recently lost my job so money is tight, this would really help!
i can’t pick up on Sat with a 2ish wedding in Cuba, MO…but for the Mr. Congeniality award…
i’m getting married and we are taking a delayed honeymoon. this buys me time until then! plus, throw me a bone, i’m getting married.
on Sunday there are 2 key players – Orlando Cepeda is my new mother in law’s favorite player, and an auto or pic would go a long way. and John Tudor was my favorite pitcher – and the reasonthat made my dad explain to a little kid why “a player gets traded”
well, i can’t be there in person Saturday as i’m getting married. but for the Mr. Congeniality award…
first, i’m getting married, toss me a bone.
second, we are taking a delayed honeymoon. this buys me time.
third, Sunday’s lineup is awesome. my future mother in law’s fav player is Orlando Cepeda…an auto or pic would go a long way. and my favorite childhood pitcher was John Tudor….and the reason my dad had to explain to me “why a player gets traded”
My friend got tickets for monday and offered to take me. I can’t because I’m getting surgery on my left shoulder that day. I’d love to get out there this weekend and really tear up that shoulder before I check in on monday.
